Experience Summary
I am a graduate of California State University Fullerton and I earned a bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance. I am studying for the CPA exam and I am qualified to tutor in introductory accounting and finance courses. I have previously tutored in subjects such as Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I am currently employed as a Field Engineer for Lockheed Martin Corporation, and have extensive experience in computer hardware and electronics.
Teaching Style
I like to tutor students who are taking the tough math courses, and I enjoy tutoring in subjects in accounting and finance. I have patience and I am a good listener. My teaching style is that I find out where the student is having problems in the subject matter, and I spend time working in these areas. When I tutor a student I build up their self confidence up so that they can succeed in their studies. I believe success in school is a matter of having self confidence, so I really focus on building it up.
