Experience Summary
I served as an assistant teacher for a dance company. The company had 4 classes of 20 students each. I taught classes on stretching and footwork techniques. This course includes simple math and adhearance to cadence drills. Now I work as an accountant since graduating in 1996. I feel as if I can translate complex mathematical concepts to any mind. I am also driven by the belief that it takes a village to teach a child. If people with need are willing to reach out for help then people who have been there before should know what that feels like and should offer to give back.
Teaching Style
I teach by demonstrating visually and praising effort. I describe the lesson, demonstrate the lesson and repeat the description of the lesson again. I never force anything. I try to make things fun.
