Experience Summary
As an accounting graduate and a college football player, I learned to have a good sense on how to study and hard work, both on and off the field. I had a great love for math throughout my schooling career and decided to go into accounting due to this. Even with a hectic schedule with football in college, I was still able to graduate exactly 2 weeks before 4 years with enough credits to be close to a finance degree as well. I took some graduate classes for my last semester and season before I left college. During this time in college I was able to tutor other players and students in Math and Accounting. I have had the pleasure of continuing tutoring in both of these subjects as well as individual taxes to people after college.
Teaching Style
Being a father to a 13 year old son, and having close friends with school age children, I have been able to teach some of my ways of doing math in subjects from simple math to algebra to geometry. I believe that there are more ways than one to complete and understand a math problem, and that if done correctly and it is easier to learn and remember, then that may be the way that student better understands that procedure.
