Experience Summary
After completing my bachelor degree in Elementary Education, I began teaching First Grade. Each day I was responsible for a maximum of thirty children at a time. I taught Bible, Phonics, Reading, Spelling, Arithmetic, Poetry, Science, Health, Art, History, and Writing. During the four years of teaching, I have tutored various children with learning difficulties. Each day I tutored children in Arithmetic, Phonics, Reading, and Writing.
Teaching Style
I am patient, and have an easy going personality. I enjoy working with children, and seeing them understand new concepts. Having worked with many children on a daily basis, I know that each child can succeed. I believe that learning is accomplished through both discovery, and in traditional methods. My goal is not only to help children learn, but also, to make a difference in their lives.
