Experience Summary
As a City College engineering graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two master degrees, MS in Sanitary Engineering and MEng in Civil Engineering, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical and communication skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports and doing a lot of presentation. During the last eleven years I have tutored students in various level of math from primary school to college level. I am presently an adjunct math professor at Monroe college in the Bronx.
Teaching Style
I have a great passion in teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success and excel in his/her chosen field of study. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best tutoring and mentoring possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a constructivist approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and a good learning environment. I strive to make a difference and create a positive impact in all my students' academic journey.
