Experience Summary
As a U. S. Naval Officer one of my main responsibilities was training my division as well as the other officers in my area of expertise. The training consisted of Anti-submarine warfare and Damage Control aspects of a Naval ship. I maintained and managed the training of all the fire fighting and damage control for the entire ship. This training consisted of lectures, presentations as well as hands on scenarios.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and encouraging others. I really like to pass on my experiences. I am not a naturally smart person, I worked hard all through school and understand the challenges. I believe every child has the potential and just need to figure out their approach to subjects. I also believe that sometime we can mentally block ourselves in certain subjects with fear of difficulty. These are things that everyone can overcome. I think I have over time and succeeded.
