Experience Summary
We are all lifelong learners. This belief helps me excel at whatever I put my mind to. Growing up, I was a straight-A student, inspired by English, math, & science. In H.S., I received gold medals in Speech competitions, composed American/English Literature essays, & tutored/proofread other student's work. I graduated as Class Salutatorian & carried my momentum through college. Choosing a Business major meant taking a wide breadth of courses, like Professional Communication, Speech Delivery, Theater, Calculus, Computer Programming, & Philosophy. At work, I received consistently-positive feedback on my written communication, docs, and training style. Peers, clients, & even managers would often ask me to proofread their emails/presentations.
Teaching Style
For me, it's always been about WHO I work with vs. WHAT I work on. I love building new relationships, having conversations, and watching people grow. The people in my life would say I am one of the most positive, respecting, motivating, & patient individuals they know. I do not believe in condescending or "lecture-style" tutoring. Instead, I put my listening ears on and adjust my approach based on the students' learning needs & methods. I have worked with such a diverse group of people throughout my life (i.e. different ages, backgrounds, styles, etc.) My goal is to help you / your child find success and for the both of us to draw inspiration from learning and accomplishing the tasks at-hand.
