Experience Summary
As a recent graduate from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in both marketing and psychology, I have had a wide range of professional experiences through internships and organizations that have made me the well-rounded, disciplined worker I am today. I have worked in recruiting, software, and as a teacher.
Being actively involved on campus has driven me to become a dedicated and disciplined worker as well as effectively manage my time and organization. I have acquired valuable attributes such as teamwork and responsibility through my involvement in various organizations such as Delta Kappa Delta (South Asian sorority), the UT Leadership Board, and Texas Bhangra.
Teaching Style
I taught 7th grade students this past summer with a wonderful organization called Breakthrough Collaborative. I dealt with students who would grasp the material right away, and then those students that would need me to explain the information several times for them to understand it. I like to have fun and joke around while teaching in order to keep the student interested, and I make sure to learn more about my students, their likes and dislikes, what motivates them, ect. I am patient but at the same time set high expectations for my students so they take their work seriously and try their hardest at all times.
