Experience Summary
I am a native Spanish-speaker currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Spanish. As a graduate student I was given the opportunity to become a Spanish instructor at the college level, where I have gained various insights on teaching and pedagogy. I also taught English in my native country, Mexico, for beginners and intermediate students.
Teaching Style
I strive to reduce student anxiety when it comes to learn a second language. I believe it is very important to create a proper environment in which the student feels comfortable and is eager to learn because the input received is clear and fun enough.
In addition, I am a patient and considerate person who very well understands the difficulties a student may have to overcome when learning a language, as I myself once was a second language learner.
