Experience Summary
I am an experienced/talented art teacher with a B.A. in painting/Studio Art from Hunter College in Manhattan, New York where I also worked as an assistant professor in painting as well. I have taught Elementary/Middle/HS Art Education for a non-profit organization Art League of Long Island (ALLI) for 4 years. I have taught painting lessons and tutored students using all mediums such as: acrylic, oil, and watercolor.
Teaching Style
The Art League of Long Island is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to broad-based visual arts education, providing a forum and showcase for artists of all ages and ability levels. As a member of their faculty I created unique lesson plans incorporating and using various mediums including watercolor, sculpture, and mixed media while incorporating Art History along with developing fine motor skills. My teaching philosophy is to expand the arts to children while enriching their lives with a creative curriculum.
