Experience Summary
As a graduate of one of the Country's top ranked schools, the University of Virginia, I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I graduated 5th in my high school class. During my senior year of high school I was a homework helper at the local public library and assisted grade school students with their homework on a weekly basis. I spent 2.5 years of college being a teaching assistant preparing for classes, grading assignments and holding office hours and study sessions to help students.
Teaching Style
I have always been strong with math and sciences and love to encourage others to learn and enjoy subjects dealing numbers. I believe everyone can grasp basic math concepts, but some just need a patient and creative teacher to assist in the process. I enjoy working with people and watching them achieve results. I have always said I will only remain an engineer until I can afford to be a middle school math teacher.
