Experience Summary
I have a Bachelor's degree in Art and Design and have used my degree in the fields of Photography and Graphic Design. I am currently getting my teaching certificate for Art Education K-12 so that I will be able to pass my passion of Art on to others. In my spare time I enjoy painting along with some figure drawing. When I worked as a Photographer a lot of my work was based around school systems so I worked closesly with students ages K-12 on a daily basis. I also worked as an intern at an after school art studio for high school students when I was in college. So, I have had lots of experience being around students.
Teaching Style
I believe in a very hands on teaching style. Learning form experience is the best way to learn. Especially in visual arts, the more you dive into a medium the better versed you can become in it. I also believe that a strong knowledge in basic fundamentals can go a long way. so that is emphasized often.
