Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate from Lindenwood University. I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Studio Art. My area of expertise is painting, drawing and art history. I also took two Education course during this time, one was a teaching observation class for elementary art. To further my education in the arts,I work for a Non Profit Art Organization in the St. Louis area. This organization has given me the chance to plan and teach art activities to children and adults at various events held by the organization as well as art workshops for boy/girl scouts.
Teaching Style
I love working with all age groups. I am a very hands on and visual person so I always make sure to have strong examples for the students. I am a great listener and love to converse with the students about their ideas and how they are going to make their ideas come to life. I believe that each student should embrace their individuality and should have the freedom to do so in their art work.
