Experience Summary
I am a every highly motivated individual and a student who excelled at being a student. I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2008 with three bachelor degrees: B.A. in German Language and Literature, B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, and B.A. in Global Studies. I receive all three degrees in 4 years of studying. I also did three study abroad semesters at foreign universities: Die Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg in Oldenburg, Germany, and La Universidad Empresserial Siglo 21 in Córdoba, Argentina. I also have taken 1 semester of French at the university level. While at the University of West Georgia, I also tutored students of all levels in both German and Spanish.
Teaching Style
I have taught English at a private school in Ansan, South Korea for 1 year from March 2009 to February 2010. I taught children from ages 5-14. This was a full time job. I take close consideration of each child’s ability in the language and cater to his or her individual needs. I believe in teaching in an immersion environment so that the child receives the maximum exposure to the target language. Depending on his or her language level, I am able to incorporate the native language of the child in with the lesson to ensure a found understanding of the material being taught.
