Experience Summary
While attending University of Phoenix to obtain my Master's in Education and Curriculum and Instruction, I have tutored students in both Los Angeles Unified School District and Orange County Unified School District in Language Arts, English and Math for the last five years. I have enjoyed the process of teaching and being a catylyst to helping students learn. The exchange of ideas and understanding which comes to the students in time is very rewarding.
Teaching Style
I am a very flexible tutor. I love working with all grade levels and ages of individuals. I have appreciated watching students come to greater understanding and the insight that they can learn. This realization has been extremely rewarding and fulfilling for me as a traveling tutor. It has provided enormous validation that the one -to-one exchange of teaching and learning which exists between tutor and student is highly valid and does indeed work.
