Teaching Style
I think that my teaching style works well for three main reasons. The first of which is my student-centered approach to education. I treat each student as an individual, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and I then use that information to help them achieve their goals. Second, I am passionate about German and language learning. I believe what I’m teaching students are skills that can be applied in many different situations for a lifetime and that makes me more effective. Third, I love getting students to that moment when “things just click” and they are successfully able to form their thoughts in the target language, for instance. I’m willing to work to get students to that “aha moment.”
