Experience Summary
I take pleasure in working with community-oriented organizations, building my body of work, and emerging as a young artist. My skills are proficient in drawing but I am also disciplined in painting and sculpting. I believe that my creative strengths as an artist and my organizational skills make me an excellent art tutor. I want to work with others, guiding them to improve their skills with positive and constructive criticism.
Teaching Style
Having been a recent graduate, I have the advantage of knowing what students appreciate when they are being taught. Making art should have us engaged, educated, and liberated. I want students to enjoy art by helping them learn to work through frustrations: experimenting with techniques and exploring subject matter (color, value, shape, contrast, etc.) I give encouraging suggestions and provide freedom to promote self discipline.
