Experience Summary
My experience was gained thru personal journeys and world travels. I lived in France as an exchange student where I conversed with other students and helped build proper conversation skills as well as grammatical correctness.
While nearly two years in Japan, I Taught Japanese IT professionals to make IT presentations in English – trained them in the planning process and proofreading materials and visuals. Coached diverse student base to make presentations effectively and to field questions from the audience.
While working for the American Cancer Society, I was responsible for the coordination and training of office and event volunteers. I was always successful motivating them and getting the mission completed.
Teaching Style
I have an analytical mind, and found thru the years that a place where I am able to be visionary and creative is right for my talents. I Intuitively understand people and situations, and more often then not, I find it easy to “read” a student and find a good way to make them understand the subject madder to be learned.
I firmly belief in “Learning by Doing”, therefore, I like to get the student engaged, excited – it doesn’t madder if the student is six or sixty years old, when you find that alley and what makes them tick, its less learning and more remembering the feeling associated with the lesson.
