Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate with extensive experience tutoring throughout my college years(4+ years experience at all levels of complexity). Originally, I tutored classmates in a few of my Math courses as a way to make some money while forcing me to understand the material enough to explain it to a struggling peer. This eventually turned into a thriving business for both Math and Economics students and was a learning experience for me. I am now very comfortable gauging the most effective way to teach someone. I have a BA in Mathematics and Economics.
Teaching Style
Teaching is an innate personality trait. Unfortunately, many professors and teachers do not possess this trait and only present material in the way that they understand it. Students often do not have the same background as their teachers and so do not master a subject in the same manner. This is where I excel, because I am comfortable finding how a student can relate to the material and using that context to teach them something that might have been considered "too abstract".
