Experience Summary
As a current college student working towards my degree in fine art and also having my own private tutor in art growing up, I believe I have gained the skills and understanding of art to pass on my knowledge and expertise to others that I may teach I have worked with children for more than 5 years, ranging from private in-home nanny, to a director of a summer camp program. I am certified in first aid and CPR training for children and adults as well as medication administration in case of emergencies. I am also able to help with basic educational skills, such as the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors.
Teaching Style
I have always loved working with kids and feeling like I am making a difference in someone’s life. I am fun loving and a big kid at heart, but I know how to balance that with hard work and dedication. I feel that art can be a form of rehabilitation in many ways, such as helping a child grieve the loss of a loved one or even as a form of physical rehabilitation as well. I believe art can transform someone’s world into something positive and rewarding and I hope that I can bring this to every child I work with.
