Experience Summary
I have successfully completed the CPA Examination. I have a degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas and have completed the Advanced Accounting needed to qualify for the CPA Examination.
When employed as a manager of a private trust company, I effectively managed $150 million of assets for client accounts. As the Manager I was very active in the design and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as training and supervising the various accounting functions. This job experience as well as my recent educational endeavor as a CPA Exam Candidate, has made me a valuable and effective communicator when placed in a teaching environment.
Teaching Style
My experience and educational accomplishments enable me to be an effective teacher. This recent accomplishment gives me the ability to teach in an academic environment and also to apply my recent experience in test taking techniques.
I have been very active volunteering in the public schools. My children’s state testing scores are in the top 1% and 4% in the nation for reading and math. I have been a strong supporter of making education exciting. Both of my children play the violin. They are also involved in sports and dance programs. All this said, we do spend quality family time whenever possible. I intend to teach other students with the same fervor and dedication that I do with my own children.
