Experience Summary
As a graduate of both the University of Minnesota (BSB-Accounting) and the University of St. Thomas (MBA) I learned that hard work, discipline and perseverance paid off. I have more than 10 years of accounting experience and have earned my CPA certificate. My experience includes supervising and managing employees and clients in many capacities, including the audit industry. My education has proven invaluable, and now that I am raising a family, I realize how important it is. I have been a stay at home mom for many years, and love working with my children, helping them achieve their educational goals. Most recently, I taught a course on Ethics to a variety of business owners/managers, at the MNCPA.
Teaching Style
I love working with children. I understand children have different learning styles, based on the learning styles of my 3 children, and my many nieces and nephews. I am available to help your child find that learning can be fun and rewarding at the same time. When they get that "a ha" moment or that "I get it" moment, it is so great to see. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible, in the most relaxed learning environment possible. I believe all children have the potential to learn; they just don't always learn at the same speed or in same environment as their friend or neighbor. I love working with people, and would love to make a difference in a student's life.
