Experience Summary
During my undergraduate work, I work very hard to learn how to teach effectively, so my students will benefit from my knowledge. I have an Associate in Arts, finished at Miami-Dade College; a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition, finished at Florida International University; and, a Masters degree in Music Education, finished at Florida International University. These degrees made it possible for me to be able to teach with high levels of efficacy. I write with good grammar and English skills. I have taught music and tutor hundreds of students in Math and Reading. As part of my courses in the university, I took in depth classes. Actually, I am in my way to take my competency test to start teaching algebra in Middle school. Also, I have been teaching for the last 16 years, giving you assurance that my pedagogicall skill are there.
Teaching Style
My passion is teaching, especially elementary students. But, I have tutor music students for 41 years. My school of thought is that I need to teach my students using different styles. For this reason, I feel that I can help your child to be successful in all academic affairs. My goal is to provide my students an opportunity to find the great student that is inside every child, so any child may be a great citizen in the future. I am positive that your child will engage in good habits of learning once he or she starts my classes.
