Experience Summary
As a graduate student, I worked as an Academic Adviser for student-athletes at The University of Akron. I have worked tutoring at-risk students in a cooperative environment. My duties included supervising and leading study sessions, helping students plan and organize time effectively, as well as implementing study and test taking strategies.
Teaching Style
I like working with young people to challenge them to accomplish something they did not think was possible. I prefer to ask them questions and see what they can come up with. From there, I use my experiences and expertise to guide them through the learning process. I believe that all people have profound capabilities and potential if they just have the proper guidance and motivation.
