Experience Summary
Since graduation college, I have been employed in the private sector of environmental chemistry laboratories. Part of my responsibilities include teaching and training new employees. This includes both the physical and chemical concepts as well as the math required to report results as produced by meters and instrumentation. Secondly, I tutored Freshman Algebra and various sciences while in college. And, most recently, I have been homeschooling my kids for the past 4 years. My daughter is now a Sophomore and will begin taking dual credit coursework next Fall under my tutoring.
Teaching Style
I have spent a career in science. I believe that quality one on one or small group teaching is the best way to improve an understanding of what can be complicated concepts and have them make sense. I am willing to meet either at your place, my house or a library where distractions can be minimized. Finally, my style of teaching includes a discussion to improve study skills so that we can assess then address your needs so that you can budget your time accordingly.
I am willing to teach in the junior high, high school or undergraduate levels.
