Experience Summary
As an Ivy league senior, I have learned to have impeccable organization skills, focus, and studying habits. In May of this year I will have a BA in Near Eastern Studies with a double certificate in French and Women & Gender Studies. I speak English, French and Arabic fluently. I have won many writing awards and have a very deep understanding of grammar and how to write anything from a research paper to college essays, resumes, and journalistic pieces. I have tutored students in history, English, music theory, French and Arabic.
Teaching Style
I have worked extensively with children and adults in the study of a variety of different subjects. I am very patient, friendly, and considerate. I am a firm believer that learning should be an enjoyable and fun process that engages the student to think both critically and creatively. I strive to connect with every student on an individual level as I believe that everyone has a different way of learning and that, as a teacher, it is crucial to be flexible and creative in the way you teach. Many of my teachers have had a huge impact in my life, and I in turn, strive to make a difference in the lives of all of my students.
