Experience Summary
Upon graduation from Colorado State University with my BS in Finance, I began working as a licensed financial planner for a small boutique financial advisory firm in the Denver Tech Center. The experience I learned there opened doors for me at a large health insurance firm (Cigna) and later at the Pepsi Bottling Group. All of my positions were within the various Finance departments.
Through my ten years of experience working in Finance, I have become an expert in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and other financial applications. Due to the volume of reports and workbooks I have built, I have polished speaking and grammatical skills.
Teaching Style
Throughout high school and college, I worked as a nanny for many different families, for children of all age ranges.
I absolutely love children, as I have one of my own, and always thought that I would have pursued an education in teaching had I not gravitated towards math.
I believe I am a very patient person and understand that each child will learn and thrive in a different way; it is up to the educator (me) to best serve the needs of the child.
I will always strive to make certain that I am meeting the needs of your child and am providing the best atmosphere possible.
