Experience Summary
I have worked as an accounting and payroll support person for 12 years. I truly enjoyed teaching people about their programs and helping them “see the light” sort of speak. I also feel I am an encourager by nature as I love people of all ages.
I have a good background in accounting as I’ve also worked quite a few years in the accounting department of a publishing company. I am currently the accountant for a small business and am developing my own bookkeeping/accounting company. I'm a recent graduate of Everest College Online.
Teaching Style
I am a patient person – not many things bother me. I like to find the best learning style for each individual person I tutor. I also believe that all people (whatever their age) have value and the potential to learn if they are the least bit curious. I strive to be the person that people respect and also never forgets. I also like to have fun with my students. All people need encouragement and acceptance. These are the things that I give freely.
