Experience Summary
I hold dual Masters degrees in Architecture and Construction and I have a passion for teaching. While earning my masters degree in construction I was a teachers assistant for construction courses and enjoyed teaching and helping over sixty students learn the material. While I was getting my first degree, which was in architecture, I worked at a music school and taught classes to children ages 4 and up.
Currently I have been mentoring a middle school child for two years and I help her with math, spanish, language arts and social studies and she is doing great in her classes. I also currently tutor a college student in applied accounting and he is also getting better every day.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children are smart and can learn they just need someone who has the patience and ability to teach them as I do. I like it when children discover knowledge on their own so I like giving them feedback to help them realize the answers on their own and feel like they really have accomplished something. The look on the face of a child when he or she finally understands is priceless!
