Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate with a Masters in Accounting and also have a bachelors degree in business with a concentration in finance. I am passionate about the subjects of accounting and finance and as such during my time in college in frequently assisted or worked alongside fellow students in accomplishing course assignments related to both subjects. In addition to my strengths in these two subjects, I also have a strong mathematical background. While in college I volunteered at my local boys and girls club as a math tutor during after school activities. I also frequently offered free algebra and precalculus tutoring to students from the local high school.
Teaching Style
My approach to teaching is build the students confidence by showing them that no problem is to difficult to challenge. I enjoy working with students step by step through each problem so that they can understand the essence of the question being asked and as such if the question is framed differently they are still able to answer it. I also strive to to challenge the students to accomplish the tasks that i have tutored them in by giving them similar problems to complete by themselves.
