Experience Summary
I have spent over 34 years as a senior software engineer with extensive experience in all aspects of complex software development in system software and medical devices. I have researched, developed, designed, implemented, tested and supported numerous products. I am highly organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation and training skills. In addition, I have taught algebra and computer programming classes at the college level with class sizes ranging from 10 to 250 students and I have done substitute teaching at the high school level. I tutor math students at the community college level and have trained customers and staff in the use of various software applications.
Teaching Style
I am a patient and relaxed teacher who is interested in student success. I am able to find different ways of explaining and assisting a student based on their needs, background, and abilities. I believe that students will measure up to expectations that are set for them and are responsible for their own success.
