Experience Summary
I have enjoyed a successful career in sales for well over 20 years.
In my sales career, I was involved with training of new and prospective employees. This involved showing them all aspects and functions of their jobs, along with utilizing exceptional communication skills, both verbally, and in writing.
I was also involved in the hiring and firing process at times.
I have learned that, with persistence, perserverence, the desire to learn, that just about anyone can achieve what they want in life.
It makes me proud when a new employee strives for excellence, and I hope that they always continue growing, both personally and professionally.
It is a priviledge to be a part of that experience.
Teaching Style
I teach each person on an individual level.
There are several reasons behind this. Some of them are: people have different strengths and weaknesses, people learn at quicker/slower rates than others, some individuals are more adept at one subject matter than another, and the motivation of the individual varies greatly from person to person.
I try to teach by example. I also believe in constructive criticism and use positive reinforcement.
I always try to give examples and "paint a picture" so that the person clearly understands the subject being taught.
Hands on, discovery, field trips, audio, video, anything I can pull in to teach with is essential to making it the best learning experience that I know how.
