Experience Summary
Through my teaching experience so far, I I believe that education is the key to success for young students. As a teacher I hope to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strengths and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. During my graduate study I tutored undergraduate students for lab work in introductory courses and helped them to solve class assignments and presented research work through thesis defense, poster presentation and projects.
Teaching Style
I love working with children. I encouraged learning by using a number of intelligent, hands-on activities and various forms of technology. By incorporating class-discussions, open-ended questions and cooperative learning I was able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive class atmosphere. In addition I utilized weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress and provide them constructive feedback. Also, having the opportunity to work with diverse group of students made me proficient to design creative and stimulating lesson plans to keep students interested and focused. Moreover, I used teaching aids (models/charts) to explain direct connections between the classroom and everyday life.
