Experience Summary
I am 54 and have homeschooled my own kids. My oldest is a commercial pilot and her brother is an engineer in Florida. The youngest is 11 so I have kept current in a wide range of subjects. I am current with my ability to teach, having completed three degrees within the last two years. I substitute teach at the Lead/Deadwood school. I have taught over 500 pilot students in high performance jet aircraft so I am well versed in math and science. This job also required extensive writing skills.
Teaching Style
I am skilled in teaching all subjects up through grade 10. I am also comfortable with college level physics and astronomy. As a father of 6 kids I have extensive patience and I have learned through experience how to transfer learning to even unwilling students. Instructing in a Jet Fighter has also given me a wide range of experiences that are helpful in relating to all types of individuals, even young kids.
