Experience Summary
Though I have not had much experience tutoring children, I have served as a Sunday school teacher. I am an intelligent individual who does not mind sharing knowledge with others, particularly children. I obtained a BS from Bennett College in Biology and graduated with a 3.77, which placed me in the number 8 spot in my graduating class. I work well with children because I come from a large family. I have a combined total of 9 nieces and nephews, so understanding kids is something I have had to master.
Teaching Style
I like to teach using all types of aid available. If visual, auditory, and verbal stimulants are present I will do my best to integrate them all. By doing so, each child will be able to use their own learning style to understand the subject matter. I am a very cordial person, however I will not tolerate non-sense from students. I like to make the child feel comfortable while keeping in mind the main objective, to learn.
