Experience Summary
I have worked with at risk students and special education students. Therefore, I have experience in developing relationships and methods that effectively develop student learning for a variety of learners. Setting realistic goals and celebrating successes promote student engagement and motivation. Tutoring goes beyond teaching students but also developing the trust and commitment needed in their future.
Teaching Style
I strive to create innovative lessons in which students have fun and also have an interesting perspective on mathematics. It has been by my experience that students learn the best through topics in which they can relate. In addition to creating fun challenging lessons, I accommodate kinesthetic, auditory and visual learners. I use a variety of methods and repetitions that will facilitate learning and comprehension at all levels.
