Experience Summary
As a UC graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree in Math with a concentration in education, which has enabled me to gain a greater understanding of Math in many different ways. In addition, I have the 4 year experience of successfully tutoring other college students in classes such as Pre-Calculus, Calculus I and Calculus II. I am also fluent in speaking and writing Spanish. So with a great passion to help others understand Mathematics, being a tutor should definitely make the journey of becoming a good Math teacher a little easier.
Teaching Style
I love helping others understand mathematics. I believe everyone is able to learn Math, but just like we all think differently, we all learn differently. That is why with the experience I have; I know how to deal with different types of learning styles. I am patient, considerate, and easy going. My goal is to provide an understanding over the material in a way that the student themselves begins to understand the process taken to solve each problem. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences.
