Experience Summary
I have been a nurse for 10 years, 3 of which I taught nursing. During this time I taught Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, Trauma & Emergencies, and Pathophysiology. This experience, along with 7 years of caring for patients in the hospital, has given me the ability to help students to better understand these subjects and apply them to the clinical area. I have earned a bachelor degree in nursing in a program that emphasized presentations and computer knowledge. This gives me a better understanding to help college students with projects and presentations.
Teaching Style
I believe that each person learns differently. It is important to identify how students learn and teach them accordingly. I like to make the information practical and help students see how it relates to their field of study. I enjoy helping others learn and want them to be able to apply it. I am patient, organized and creative.
