Experience Summary
I have a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in microbiology and zoology with a minor in chemistry. For the past 10 years I have worked in the science industry in many facets. Many facets only because I was trying to decide what I wanted to go graduate school for only to decide not to go once I was accepted. I have gained experience in the biotech industry working with RNA, in the newborn screening laboratory for the state health department working with recessive diseases. I am now a clinical reagent application specialist for Waters Corporation.
Teaching Style
Depending on the age of child but especially thinking of biology and chemistry classes I think it is valuable to teach the person how to create different activities with the subject matter to learn the material. It is important to know that people learn different ways and have different needs when it comes to learning.
