Experience Summary
I have an M.S. in Computer Engineering, an extensive background in Mathematics, and worked for many years as an engineer in Silicon Valley companies. I thoroughly enjoyed school and excelled at test-taking, which I know is an area of anxiety and difficulty for many students. I believe that students will have the best possible future lives if they have the best possible education. I help students get past their stumbling blocks, leading to increased confidence and much-improved grades.
Teaching Style
I work as a partner with the student and their parents, tailoring each tutoring program to the student's needs. I especially enjoy helping high school students excel in Math. One of my recent tutoring students went from receiving an F on Algebra2 exams to receiving a B, after only 2 weeks of tutoring! I'd love to help your student improve their results in Math class, and prepare themselves for a successful college career. I'm also available to tutor in SAT preparation, computer subjects and French.
