Experience Summary
A passionate advocate for all things French, I enjoy the opportunity to spread the language and culture to others. I lived in France while studying for my degree, and earned a BA in French, in addition to a BA in International Relations and Global Affairs. During college, I was a teacher’s assistant, helping professors grade beginner and intermediate level work, and tutoring students at all levels. I recently returned from living and traveling in Europe for the last two and half years, and am excited to be back in my home state of Colorado. In addition, I have worked in several Francophone West African countries, and enjoy sharing the experiences I had with the local communities.
Teaching Style
Teaching and sharing my passion for knowledge with others is a lifelong goal. I enjoy working with children of all ages, and discovering each child’s specific learning style and formula for success. Having worked as a tutor and as a counselor at a youth camp program, I know I can make a difference and make learning fun and productive for students. I am an easy going and patient individual, but I expect students to work hard and take initiative in their studies.
