Experience Summary
I graduated from Springfield College Magna Cum Laude. I am currently in the Masters Program for Community Counseling and Psychology. I have extensive experience in substituting at the high school level and I was a Para- Educator for years working with individuals with disabilities,a majority with a cognitive/learning disability. I currently work with individuals in obtaining employment by offering training in soft skills, interviews, resume writing and cover letter writing.I have written many papers/essays during my own personal education within the past four years and am eager to assist others in their learning endeavor.
Teaching Style
I relate to children well. I have experience in one on one teaching as well as small group techniques. I am patient and empathetic to the limitations of others and enjoy assisting them in discovering their own personal skills and abilities. I am able to meet a student where they are and help them to realize where their capabilities and abilities lie. I am friendly and easy going and these qualities allow me to work well with children of all ages and abilities.
