Experience Summary
I have earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry and a masters degree in forensic science, which have enabled me to obtain experience in pharmaceutical research and development and teaching. I have acquired many skills with both positions that include but are not limited to: time management, organizational skills, being able to work in groups and independently and grammatical skills due to years of work that required presentations of data, writing research papers and reports. During the last 5 months I have taught chemistry to non-science major college students and have served as a tutor for high school and undergraduate students in chemistry. I also served as a undergraduate laboratory instructor.
Teaching Style
I have worked with students in high school, junior college and four year universities with one goal in mind - not to make them love chemistry but to help them understand the concepts and find a way to apply it in their lives. I am patient, considerate ad caring but I also expect my students to put in the necessary time and effort for the desired outcome. I believe all students can understand chemistry if they are willing to open their minds and not allow themselves to be defeated. My goal is to have all my students reach their goals, whatever they may be.
