Experience Summary
I am one of eighteen siblings and was raised in the small town of Las Vegas, NM., homeschooled my son (7th-11th grade) who earned his degree in Psychology and minored in Theatre and have always had a passion to teach. As a Children's Church volunteer (Ages 5-15) for over twenty years in Albuquerque, I acquired a unique teaching skill which also compliments my gift of giving and patience that students lack in a classroom setting. My accomplishments as a single parent and a teacher surpass the experience I have gained in the corporate world. Success to me means doing whatever you believe is important and the youth of today are not only our future ...they're what make living worth while.
Teaching Style
My classroom setting is focused on the student and their needs. I heavily rely on repetition and object lessons to aid the students in comprehension and application. Depending on the age group, the beginning of my class (10 minutes) will require some exercise and/or Stretch and Flex routines to aid the student in concentration, the next session will be review, and the last session will be new material. Total time 60 minsutes
