Experience Summary
As a fervent student of Mathematics, I have a M.S. and B.A. both in Mathematics - California State University Northridge. As an undergraduate at C.S.U.N., I taught for their Math Tutoring Lab for 3 years. Soon after entering into their Graduate program, I began teaching Math (gaining invaluable teaching experience) for the CSUN Developmental Math Program. After graduating with my Masters degree at CSUN, I was hired to teach Math for Los Angeles Pierce College, where I taught PreAlgebra through Precalculus. Soon after that C.S.U.N. hired me back to teach in their core Math Department, where I taught Algebra through Calculus. I have also taught Middle School & High School at Le Lycee Francais de Los Angeles.
Teaching Style
Meticulous presentation & enthusiasm for teaching/tutoring Mathematics is my teaching style, always making learning a fulfilling/educational experience for all students. I strongly encourage students in their education, including: demonstrating positive collateral learning, motivating students towards educational advancement, and showing commitment to our educational system. My classroom ideologies extend from Math Education - Constructivism, where students contribute to their daily learning process by participating in constructing knowledge, and where they appreciate the learning/ideas of others.
