Experience Summary
I have a bachelors of science degree in teaching science. I have specialized in mathematics and chemistry subjects. I have four years of teaching experience in mathematics and chemistry in public high school both in single sex streams and co educational classroom. I have attended several seminars for strengthening and teaching mathematics and sciences in secondary school have presented papers in seminars on how to improve performance in maths and sciences in schools. I am gifted on improving the learner’s perception in maths and sciences.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children. I use minds on hands on activities to create learners interest. I prepare a guided work sheet on concepts or learning activities that involve a process to enhance learner’s understanding. I give a thorough explanation to facts and welcome a discussion forum with a learner to enhance a student participation and also identify misconceptions and address them appropriately .In a case when a student have a learning difficulties i use drilling approach. I believe that all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surrounding and learning experience.
