Experience Summary
I've been tutoring/teaching Mathematics for over 35 years. After graduating from The College of Insurance in New York City, I started tutoring Math at both the high school and college levels. After starting my teaching career at Keiser University as a full-time Math Instructor, I decided to go back to school for an MBA in Management and then an MS in Innovative Teaching in Math. I'm in my ninth year at Keiser University and have extensive experience doing private one-on-one tutoring in Math.
Teaching Style
Math has been known to be a very difficult subject for many students of all age groups and backgrounds. I assess each new student I tutor to find their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to mastering the skills necessary for success in Math. I tailor design a plan to achieve success for each individual student. I am very patient and understanding of the unique learning styles of each student and strive to help each one achieve their full potential in their math courses. I know I make a difference in the lives of the students I tutor and teach and this is the real reward in teaching.
