Experience Summary
My nine years experience with children has honed my ability to connect with my students at a high level of excellence in education. My Bachelors degree in Sociology has enabled me to see students at their individual needs in learning. In addition, having taken the Teachers Preparation Courses at FSCJ had extensively trained me in grammatical skills due to the writing of research papers and field work experiences that were required in the course. It has also greatly trained me in the processes in teaching styles,lesson planning,and instructional strategies in reading, math, science, and social studies.
Teaching Style
I believe that each child has the potential to learn. I love children and teaching them is my greatest passion. I am a firm believer of Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences which states that each child has a different learning style. I am patient, fun loving, and motivating. I allow my students to discover things on their own while providing the constructive guidance approach. I believe that learning has to be fun and meaningful.It has been my greatest accomplishment knowing that my work with children in the past nine years have produced children who are inspired to learn and continues to appreciate my work with them together with the approval of their parents.
