Experience Summary
As a youth I grew up in the inner city and dreamed of a career as a educator to help those students who didn’t have the support at home to be successful. In 2008 I earned my degree in elementary education with ESOL endorsement. In my first year of teaching i became ESE certified, and my students showed 100% proficiency in math and 97% proficiency in reading.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching students in all areas of study, mainly math and reading. I believe in positive reinforcement and specific praise. Also, I believe in teaching to mastery and showing students with hard work they can achieve any goal and mastery any academic skill.
