Experience Summary
As a school counseling and guidance student, I am very interested in the achievement and success of students. I am currently earning my M.Ed./Ed.S. in School Counseling and Guidance from the University of Florida. I have also earned my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida and my A.A. in Psychology from Polk Community College. While earning my undergraduate, I was a Teaching Assistant for a course. I proofread and graded papers submitted by undergraduate students. I have also completed my practicum experience at an elementary school in Gainesville, FL. I have worked closely with students concerning their grades, homework, and personal and social issues.
Teaching Style
I believe that each and every student has different learning strengths and weaknesses. As a school counseling and guidance student, I have learned to work with the student's strengths and help the student with his or her weaknesses. I am a friendly and understanding teacher. I believe every student can achieve understanding and I will work hard to assist the student.
